PixelKaro is not affiliated with any government portal, examination board or passport authority. Always confirm the latest image requirements on the official website where you plan to submit your file.
How the tools are tested
PixelKaro checks image operations against known pixel dimensions, file formats and metadata samples. DPI reports distinguish embedded EXIF, JPEG JFIF and PNG resolution metadata from effective PPI calculated for a chosen print size. A metadata label is never presented as proof of extra image detail.
Passport presets identify their official source and review date, while the tools clearly separate those sourced dimensions from editable PixelKaro file-size suggestions. See the DPI and PPI methodology for the formulas used in print guidance.
Supported formats and limits
Current browser tools accept JPG, PNG and WebP images up to 25 MB each. Results can vary with browser support, source compression and image complexity. PixelKaro reports a clear error when a file cannot be decoded instead of claiming a successful result.
