Photo
- Recent passport-style colour photo against a light, preferably white, background.
- No caps, hats or dark glasses. Religious headwear is allowed if it does not cover the face.
- You will also capture a live photo with your webcam or phone while applying.
Signature
- Sign on white paper with a black ink pen.
- A signature in CAPITAL LETTERS is not accepted.
- It must match the signature you give on the call letter and attendance sheet.
Left thumb
- Left thumb impression on white paper with black or blue ink.
- If you cannot give a left thumb impression, the notification lists which finger to use instead and asks you to name it in the uploaded document.
Declaration
- Write it yourself, in English, with black ink on white paper.
- It must not be in CAPITAL LETTERS. A declaration written by someone else or in another language makes the application invalid.
What else to know
- The online application is not registered until the photo, signature, left-hand thumb impression and hand-written declaration are uploaded as specified.
- You will also capture a live photo with your webcam or phone during registration.
- Unclear images can lead to rejection; you can edit and re-upload them before submitting the form.
- Keep about 8 copies of the same photograph; they are needed later in the selection process.
Declaration text to write by hand
I________(Name of the candidate), _______(Date of Birth) hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph and left-hand thumb impression is of mine.
Write it in English, in your own handwriting, not in capital letters. Then photograph or scan it and pick “declaration” in the tool above.

Yes. The SBI PO 2026 text also asks for your date of birth and ends with “The signature, photograph and left-hand thumb impression is of mine”. The file rules are the same: 800 × 400 px at 200 DPI, 50–100 KB, JPG.
